Working as a subcontractor to the principal contractor, we were contracted to complete the rainscreen façade at The Holiday Inn Hotel on Talbot Road, a testament to both tradition and modernity. This case study delves into the slick cladding project, emphasising the intricacies involved in safeguarding its structural integrity and aesthetic allure.

Scope of works:

• Cosentino Dekton engineered stone, installed on rails with secret fix system including rockwool insulation and Siderise fire barriers.
• Jura natural limestone installed on rails with secret fix system including rockwool insulation and Siderise fire barriers.
• Architectural aluminium to canopy, soffits and fascias.

Challenges:

The unique location of the Holiday Inn Hotel posed a series of challenges that demanded innovative engineering and planning.
